The date for this event is Wednesday July 3rd 2019.

The day will be operated as an open pit lane event - 9.00am to 5.00pm at the famous Goodwood circuit. Places are limited to 45 and it’s a 1st come 1st served basis.

Inclusive of the track day:

  • Morning Briefing
  • Exclusive Use Of The Paddocks
  • Lockers & Changing Rooms Available
  • Tea & Coffee Throughout The Day
  • Buffet Lunch
  • Noise Testing
  • Helmets Provided
  • Fully Marshalled
  • Passengers are allowed (required to be signed on)

Please note noise restrictions apply at Goodwood - on this day there will be a 98dB static limit. All standard cars will not be affected. However, if you have changed the exhaust system we would recommend having a noise test carried out on your car prior to the event , to ensure whether your car will meet the 98dB limit. The helpful team at Goodwood can test your car before the event, please call Goodwood on 01243 755093 to book this in.

FAQ's

What do I need to do to ensure my car is prepared for the track day?

It is down to the customer to ensure their car is fully prepared for the track day, ie: recent service or inspection, ensuring all fluid levels are correct and the brakes are in good condition, there are no loose items are in the car, you have good quality tyres with plenty of tread and to ensure you are running on the correct tyre pressures.
Don’t forget to do a cool down lap and remember not to use the handbrake once back in the paddock.

A great read up can be found here by EVO magazine.

Is insurance mandatory?

No, the organisers do not require that our customers are insured as the track is not a public highway. Often track day regulars do not insure their cars. However, for those looking for total peace of mind we recommend you investigate insurance to cover any possible mishaps on the track.

Will my normal road insurance policy cover me on the track day?

No, probably not, but it is definitely worth checking with your insurance company. Some car insurance companies will add track day cover to your policy for a small premium.

Where can I get track day insurance and how does it work?

Track day insurance will not affect your road insurance in any way but is limited to damage sustained to your own vehicle and does not include personal injury or third party liability. Click here for details of where you can purchase track day insurance.
